Goals

• Achieving compliance with labour legislation and insurance company recommendations

Passenger vehicle drivers, who may be required to assist injured passengers and ensure the safety of people present at the accident scene

• Protection
• Alerting the emergency services
• The casualty is bleeding profusely
• The casualty is unconscious
• The casualty is not breathing
• The casualty states s/he is feeling unwell

• Mass casualties (priorities - protocol for decision-making)

First-aid practical content (morning)

• Real-life cases using training manikins
• Situations based on INRS (National Institute for Research and Safety) training programs, such as the “appointed staff member first-aider in the workplace” program
• Evacuation theoretical content (afternoon)
• Accident statistics for public transport vehicles
• Characteristics of these accidents
• Specific risks
• Difficulties linked to evacuating a vehicle on its side

Evacuation practical content (afternoon)

Simulations according to the following cases:

• Vehicle on its wheels
• Vehicle on its side
• Vehicle on fire
• Presence of casualties and people with reduced mobility
